Producer, Mixer, and Instrumentalist at Full Stop Art, an NY-based music production company. My productions, are creative, exciting, and always aim to stand out in some way.
I pride myself in being an artist before an engineer. I have long-standing relationship with the rock band Nap LaJoy, and the experimental trio amuse-bouche. In both of these groups I serve as band member as well as producer, recording and mixing engineer. I strive first and foremost to create recordings that vibe and elicit an emotional response. I love working on songs from the ground up and helping a band or a singer find and develop their personal sound and style. As an instrumentalist I can add guitar, bass, drums, synths, or samples.
I’ve produced in fully-equipped studios, I’ve recorded albums in bedrooms. The one rule I abide by is that of taste. If it sounds good to you, it’s good. Gear and studio technique are ultimately to serve artistic expression. As a producer and mixer I am detail-oriented and thorough while always keeping focus on the artist’s intent and style.
