I’m a music producer and audio engineer with a passion for helping R&B artists and upcoming rappers bring their sound to life. I’ve studied music production, mixing, and mastering, and have hands-on experience working with different sounds and styles. I’m all about good music, creativity, and helping artists find their own sound.
I’m Shalant, an R&B and hip-hop artist, songwriter, producer, and audio engineer from New Jersey. My sound blends smooth melodies, raw emotion, and laid-back energy, drawing inspiration from love, relationships, and everyday experiences. I make music for people who feel everything but act like nothing bothers them.
I graduated from Studio West Recording Arts and became a certified Pro Tools User, gaining hands-on experience in recording, music production, mixing, mastering, and audio post-production. I’ve worked on original music, collaborative projects, and sound for visual media, allowing me to grow creatively and technically.
I’m currently developing my project House of Hollows, which explores the beauty and darker sides of love, alongside my single Here and Now. I’m also part of False Reality, a creative collective built around authenticity, individuality, and collaboration.
As both an artist and engineer, my goal is to help upcoming R&B singers and rappers find their sound, bring their ideas to life, and create music that feels genuine to who they are.
