Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: One project I’m especially proud of is SUIT Música, a band and original music project where I work as a drummer and musician. We create our own songs, exploring styles from funk to pop, with a strong focus on groove, energy and live performance. We also work on live events with a special show called “Bruno Mars Day”, a tribute to Bruno Mars celebrating his music, style and performance. Being part of SUIT Música has allowed me to develop not only as a drummer, but also as a musician involved in songwriting, arranging, recording and live performance. I’m especially proud of the musical identity we have built together.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I’m currently working on my own music, recording drum tracks for different projects and collaborating with artists and musicians. I’m also developing my remote session work and expanding my home studio setup for professional recordings.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both. I love the character and feel of analog equipment, but digital tools give me flexibility, precision and a faster workflow. I believe the best approach is to use technology as a tool while keeping the musical performance at the center.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: My promise is to treat every song as a musical project, not just a recording job. I will listen carefully, communicate clearly and give my best to deliver a drum performance that truly serves the song.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: What I love most is turning an idea into something that feels alive. Every song has its own personality, and I enjoy finding the right groove, sound and performance to bring that personality out.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: One of the most common questions is whether I can create the drum part from scratch. Yes. If you send me the song, references and the direction you have in mind, I can develop a drum arrangement that fits the music and your vision.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: One common misconception is that recording drums is simply about playing the right notes. A good drum track requires listening, musical decisions, dynamics, tone and understanding how the drums interact with the entire song.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I usually ask about the style and references of the song, what they want from the drums, whether they already have an arrangement in mind, and what kind of feel or energy they are looking for. I also ask about the deadline and delivery requirements.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Look for someone who understands your song, not just someone who can play an instrument. Communication, musicality and understanding the vision of the project are just as important as technical skills.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: A drum kit, a guitar, a recording interface, headphones and an endless supply of coffee. If I’m going to be stuck there, I might as well make some music.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I’ve been working as a musician for more than 20 years as a drummer, percussionist, guitarist, singer, songwriter and arranger. I’ve performed live, recorded in studio, worked with different artists and bands, and been involved in theater and television productions. I also work as a music teacher and create music and content for artists.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: My style is musical, dynamic and groove-oriented. I like playing with feel and personality while always serving the song. I enjoy combining solid grooves with creative details, adapting my playing to the character and emotion of each track.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would love to work with Anderson .Paak. I really admire his approach to rhythm, groove and songwriting, and the way he combines funk, soul, hip-hop and modern production. His ability to make every part feel musical, energetic and authentic is something I really connect with. It would be an amazing experience to contribute to that kind of musical environment.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Always serve the song first. Before thinking about sounds, gear or technical details, listen to what the song actually needs. A great production is not about adding more, but about making the right musical decisions and leaving space for each element to breathe.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I mainly work with rock, pop, alternative, indie and funk. I also enjoy working on singer-songwriter projects and productions that combine different contemporary styles.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My greatest strength is musicality: understanding what a song needs and turning it into the right drum part. I’m also very adaptable and can work across different styles while keeping a strong sense of groove, dynamics and feel.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring groove, feel, dynamics and musicality to each song. My goal is to make the drums support and enhance the emotion of the music, while adding my own personality as a drummer. I always play for the song, not just for the instrument.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: The client sends me the song, demo or reference track, along with any ideas or specific instructions. I listen carefully to the song and discuss the desired style, feel and drum approach before recording. I then record the drums, select the best takes, edit and organize the tracks, and deliver clean WAV stems ready for mixing. Revisions or adjustments can be made if needed.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I work from an acoustically treated home studio equipped with a full acoustic drum kit, multiple microphones, audio interface, studio monitors and guitar/bass amplifiers. The studio is also set up for recording other instruments, allowing me to work on complete musical productions as well as professional drum tracks.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I’m inspired by musicians who put the song first. Some of my biggest influences are Phil Collins, Steve Gadd, Jeff Porcaro, Dave Grohl, Chad Smith, Stewart Copeland, Ringo Starr, Gustavo Cerati and Charly García.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Recording professional acoustic drum tracks for songs and productions. Clients usually send me a demo or reference track, and I create and record the drum part with a focus on groove, feel, dynamics and serving the song. I deliver edited WAV stems ready for mixing.
