I’m Sloth da Savior, an artist and mixing engineer focused on creating modern, immersive vocal mixes.
Being an artist myself changes the way I approach a mix. I’m not just looking at meters or trying to make every vocal technically perfect—I care about whether the vocal actually feels right in the record. The emotion, space, clarity and character of the performance come first.
My strongest area is vocal production and mixing, especially melodic rap, alternative, pop and atmospheric records. I work with vocal stacks, doubles, harmonies, ad-libs, vocal effects and automation to create depth while keeping the lead clear and present.
Depending on the record, that can include vocal cleanup, EQ, compression, de-essing, tuning, saturation, reverb/delay, vocal stacking, creative effects and detailed automation.
