Cory Hunter is a Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist and producer who's spent the better part of two decades on the road and in the studio. He got his start as a touring session bassist, playing and recording with artists like Brooke Fraser, Bea Miller, Christina Grimmie, Joe Brooks, and Brynn Elliott, and sharing stages with Brandi Carlile, O.A.R., Wilson Phillips, and Allen Stone at venues like Red Rocks, the O2 Arena, Staples Center, and Austin City Limits.
Since 2015 he's also been running his own creative studio, writing, producing, and arranging across pop, indie, R&B, jazz, alternative, singer-songwriter, blues, and rock. He works primarily in Ableton, Pro Tools, and Reason, and moves easily between bass, piano, keys, and guitar- so he can usually cover more than one role in a session.
His instrumental series Greatest Hips, a four-volume project he wrote, produced, and performed himself, is a good example of how he approaches groove and arrangement.
He's finishing a Master of Music in Music Production at Berklee College of Music, and trained this previous year- graduating from the Los Angeles Academy of Music & Performance.
