Ambient and drone soundscapes for film, video, installations, and theatre. Every cue is composed to your exact runtime, with stems and loopable versions on request.

I'm Alessio Premoli, aka Chelidon Frame, a composer, sound artist and coder based in Milan. Since 2014 I've focused on one thing: long-form ambient and drone. Slow, textured music that holds a scene, a room or a stage without pulling focus.

WHAT I DO
Original cues for film, video, documentary, installation and theatre, written for your project at your length. Back-catalogue licensing also available. I build from analog and digital synths, prepared guitars, tape loops, field recordings and shortwave radio, then mix and master in my own studio.

EXPERIENCE
My tracks have been featured in Netflix and Sky series and documentaries, and my installations and electroacoustic work presented at Fuorisalone, Tempo Reale, Radiophrenia Glasgow and Palazzo Albrizzi Capello in Venice. I perform live with the ECSIS ensemble, so I'm used to sound that has to land in a room and on a cue. I founded the Asynchronous Drone Orchestra, now in its 18th edition with 90+ artists. I also compose from real datasets (data sonification), useful when a project has an argument to make and not just a mood.

WHY ME
