You could say that an accomplished music producer is the musical embodiment of a Swiss-army knife. Introducing Ciarán O’ Shea, record producer and mixer from Cork, Ireland. Ciarán’s impressive skill set is the result of a wealth of wide ranging experience in the music business at the highest level.
Ciarán’s career began as a member of rock group Cyclefly who rose to international acclaim in the late nineties. Working with industry big hitters such as Sylvia Massy (Tool, Prince), Colin Richardson (Slipknot, Rodrigo y Gabriela), Bill Appleberry (Stone Temple Pilots, The Fugees) and Sean Beavan (N.I.N., No Doubt, Marylin Manson) has given Ciarán a wealth of experience to draw from.
Diversifying his professional palette Ciarán’s talents introduced him to the world of television, movie and video game soundtracks where he worked as a composer and mixer for BBC, ITV, Channel 4, RTÉ, FilmFour and Square Enix productions.
As a music producer he has worked in a variety of styles from electronica to pop to rock with artists such as Bush, Chester Bennington (Linkin Park), The Frank and Walters, Sacha Puttnam, Rulers Of The Planet, Zoax and Chris Coco.
As owner of WhiteWell Studios, Ciarán’s outlook is that every artist/band is unique and works with you in a comfortable, creative environment to bring your vision to its highest level of realization.
