As a pianist and composer, I create original music for documentaries. Drawing on classical piano, songwriting and cinematic composition, I write scores that feel honest, emotionally engaging and true to each story. My work includes NGO documentaries, and I’m currently composing the score for Patterns of Life.
My background combines classical piano, songwriting and years of collaborating with artists, filmmakers and creative teams. I’ve composed music for documentaries and NGO films exploring the relationship between people and wildlife in Africa, and I’m currently scoring Patterns of Life, a feature documentary exploring disappearing cultures and traditions around the world.
Before moving into composition, I was signed to Warner Music as a solo artist. Alongside composing, I continue to perform as a pianist in bands and as a solo musician. Years of songwriting, performing and collaborating have shaped the way I approach every project: looking for what is honest and true to the story, and finding the musical path that feels most authentic rather than the most obvious.
Every project is different, and I enjoy working closely with directors to find the right musical direction for their film. Whether the score calls for subtle piano, organic textures or a more cinematic sound, I adapt my approach to the needs of each project.
