Award-winning and professionally experienced saxophonist available to write and remotely record parts, improvised solos
I am both an award-winning bandleader (DownBeat Magazine SMA, JazzEdNet Young Composer, Outstanding Achievement in Jazz Saxophone at McGill University) and a highly versatile saxophonist, specializing in jazz and jazz adjacent music including blues, funk, hip hop and pop.
I have several years experience performing and recording professionally and I have studied and played with some of Canada's finest jazz musicians, including Remi Bolduc, Kevin Dean, and Ira Coleman in Montreal, Canada. I also love to write and arrange, so I am comfortable crafting original sax parts for your project in addition to improvising tasteful and/or burning solos. I mostly play tenor and soprano saxophones.
