I specialise in eeking out as much movement & impact from a recording as possible – helping you get to how you imagined the song always should have sounded like.
I approach mixing & mastering from the artist's perspective, as I've been a musician for most of my life and accidentally discovered my love for the production side of things out of having to produce my own music. So the mixing and mastering isn't a technical task (though there are certainly technical elements) but is primarily an emotional, creative task: how are we going to make sure that someone who has never heard your music stops scrolling, sits forward, and gives you the time you deserve?
I've been helping artists get end-results they're pumped about for years now, and now work primarily out of my own studio, drawing on a beautiful, vintage 28-channel Cadac console and some outboard gear for analogue mojo when needed, as well as about a million pounds' worth of plugins for when I need precision. I've invested in a ton of really decent acoustic treatment, so we can spend less time chasing our tails and more time getting you mixes and masters that you're proud of.
