Production & Post-Production Sound Specialist working in Film/TV & Commercials with game audio and development experience (Wwise, Unreal, Unity) and a shipped Steam Indie game. Frequently takes on multi-role positions across production sound, sound design, and composition.
My career is built on versatility: I have worked on dozens of film, television, and commercial productions -including CBC's Allegiance, HBO's Chimp Crazy, the EF x ASSOS Pro Cycling product launch and many more national and international credits- where I frequently take on multi-role positions, serving as production sound mixer, supervising sound editor, and composer, sometimes all on the same project. This approach has sharpened my ability to move fluidly across projects and mediums, collaborating closely with Design, Animation, VFX, and Creative Leadership while holding ownership over more than one area of a project's audio at once. That range directly aligns with the multi-area support this role requires.

Interview with Rayce Vaughan - Sound Engineer
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: 1. Sound Devices Mixpre10 II - 32 bit, doubles as an interface, all the inputs/tracks I could need with room to spare. 2. Sennheiser MKH 416 stereo pair - The perfect mics for location recording, foley, sampling, and everything/anything else I could get up to. Isolation so good it's fitting of being on a desert island! 3. Focal Bathys headphones - Maybe not the most powerful pair of cans, but if it's possibly the last set I will ever wear I'd rather be comfortable, they sound damn good too! 4. Korg Minilogue XD - The perfect companion for music, sound design, and creativity. The Sequencer would probably be the only thing preventing me from going insane. 5. Macbook Pro w/ FL Studio Producer's Edition - Self-explanatory. Maybe not the best all-rounder, but definitely the most fun. All this gear has the same things in common; Made of metal, built like a tank, ready for anything - and owned by me!
