Endorse Ward Pike, Comfort Cove SoundHad the pleasure of working with Ward on a couple of projects. He recorded/mixed/produced my last bands second album and just recently mixed an EP I had recorded. He's very knowledgeable and only wants whats best for the recording. We butted heads once or twice, but the end product was a killer power/pop album . Definitely recommend Comfort Cove!
I came to Ward to record my second album because I wanted it to be amazing. It was nothing short of that for me. Ward has an endless supply of instruments, gear, talented friends and talent himself which made recording with him one of the top favourite musical moments in my life. I would recommend Comfort Cove Sound to anybody.
Ward Pike has a very good thing going on at Comfort Cove Sound. His knowledge and experience are beyond comparison and were called upon quite regularly during each recording session. For me, this added a level of comfort and confidence thats not easily found.
If your considering recording, do yourself a favour and book yourself at Comfort Cove!
I went to Ward's with a acoustic Guitar and a bunch of slow music, I asked and needed a major producer, Ward not only done a major production for my album, but he also played most parts on the album ( amazing musician) co-wrote and helped re-arrange the tempo's, was very patient in letting me pay off the album, and even helped build a band Thank-You
where to start with Comfort Cove Studios, it aint the 60 odd guitars of nothing but Gibson, Fender, Gretch, Martin, Taylor, Etc, it ain't the 80 odd vocal mics for every sound needed, it aint even with all the set up of the memory console, all the faders, compressors, pre-amp, etc, no, the main asset to comfort cove is Ward Pike, more to read......
I have done some drum sessions with ward at Comfort Sound and each time has been a very positive experience. I can't speak for the whole island but I can't imagine any other recording studio here with better gear. Ward really knows his way around all of it as well, especially with his editing skills. All and all, very enjoyable experience.
Comfort Cove Studio is a haven - once you walk in, you leave the outside world behind and settle into the magical world of music. Re: gear, I can't really speak the lingo, but I do know that producer Ward Pike has close to one hundred microphones and that, to a singer, is truly remarkable. That WP can record, mix and perform on tracks is a bonus!!!
I have worked with Ward on a number of projects. With the band I played with as well as two solo projects. Ward knows how to bring out the best and he provides his best to his clients as well. Love working with him in his state of the art studio. I truly agree with the statement about music first, money later. Look forward to our next project.
Relaxed yet state of the art environment, with everything you need to get any sound you could imagine, with an engineer who knows how to make it happen! Professional, high quality, and knowledgeable (about songwriting, performance, engineering, with a real ear for producing). Also for all you hear nuts, more guitars than you can shake a stick at!
Ward has state of the art equipment, more guitars and gear than any studio I've ever seen, and he a superb engineer with great ears and ideas.
Ward is a very knowledgeable guy with amazing amount of talent.
