Hey! I'm Jay, im a recorder, producer, mixing and master engineer. My main focus is Pop, R&B, EDM, Rock, and also because of my sorrounds, a lot of mexican music like Boleros, Mariachi, and Regional mexicano.

I do this because when I first started doing music, I didn’t knew how to communicate or express what I really wanted for my project. There was a point when I realized that I wasn’t happy with how my songs sounded, especially because I wasn’t producing them myself, and because of that, I never felt like I was able to find my own sound.

Now, I want to help other people avoid going through that same experience. I want to help artists communicate, write, and, most importantly, represent their ideas through a song in the best way possible. My goal is to understand what an artist hears and feels in their head, even when they don’t know exactly how to put it into words, and help turn that idea into something real.

Today, I work in music production, specializing in ITB mixing and mastering. I also work with live sound, and I’m currently part of Cibrian Studios, the studio of Kiko Cibrian, a renowned producer and engineer known for his work with artists such as Luis Miguel. To me, being an engineer is not just about turning knobs or making something sound “good.” A big part of my job is understanding what an artist is trying to say and making it sound PRO.

At the end of the day, that’s what I love most about this work: helping other people communicate their music the way they truly imagine it. And yeah, my goal is always to make it sound fucking good.
