I am a professional studio engineer and session bassist with over 16 years of industry experience. I divide my time between working as the in-house engineer at Nam Studios (Wiltshire) and running Side Room Audio, my private hybrid mixing space in Bath.
I have worked extensively as both an engineer and a touring musician, tacking and playing credits include sessions at Real World Studios, Studio La Fabrique (France), and Circle Studios (Birmingham).

Services Offered
Hybrid Mixing: Punchy, wide mixes via a dedicated analog outboard signal chain.

Remote Session Bass: Tailored bass lines via a '76 Fender P-Bass (flats/mutes), Limelight P-Bass, or American Jazz (rounds) run through a '70s Music Man HD-130 head and Neve DI or Ampeg V4B, various cabs. Includes boutique pedal tracking (SansAmp, Boss OC-2, Catalinbread SFT, fuzzs).

Vocal Production & Guitar Reamping: Precision tuning/alignment, and reamping via vintage valve paths ('70s Fender Pro Reverb, WEM Clubman, Music Man Amps, Wem Tape Copicat delays and Spring reverbs).

Monitoring: ATC SCM 12 Pro monitors + MC2 1500 amp. Cranborne Converters

Preamps & Dynamics: AML 1073, Cranborne Camden, Sound Skulptor valve pres and CP5176 (1176 FET), JLM LA500a Optical comps, Nekotronics Bus comp, JLM EQs.

Mics: Custom 251, EV RE20, D112, Beta52, SE4400a's, AKG C451b etc
