Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I'm proud to have contributed to projects that received Premio Gardel recognition. Working with respected Argentine artists taught me the importance of serving the music while maintaining the artist's unique identity.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both have their strengths. I record digitally for reliability and flexibility, while focusing on capturing natural performances that preserve the warmth and emotion often associated with analog recordings.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Helping artists transform an idea into a finished record. Every project is unique, and I enjoy finding the right musical approach for each song.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: Many people think session musicians simply record notes. In reality, we're constantly making musical decisions about tone, dynamics, phrasing, rhythm and emotion that shape the final production.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I usually ask for the demo, reference tracks, key, tempo, desired mood, and whether they're looking for faithful execution or creative input. The better I understand the vision, the better I can contribute.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Choose someone whose musical style connects with your vision, not just their equipment. Listening to previous work is the best way to know if the musician is the right fit for your project.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: A nylon-string guitar, an acoustic guitar, a quality audio interface, a pair of headphones, and a laptop with my recording software.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I've been playing professionally for over 15 years as a guitarist, arranger, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Throughout my career I've worked with artists across Latin America, recorded award-recognized productions and performed on major stages while continuing to expand my work through remote recording.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Expressive, organic and song-focused. I value tasteful arrangements, strong melodies and performances that support the emotion of the music rather than overpower it.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I'd love to work with Jorge Drexler. His music blends poetic songwriting, sophisticated harmony and subtle production in a way that deeply resonates with my own artistic vision.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Always record the best possible performance before relying on editing. Great recordings begin with great musicianship.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Folk, indie, singer-songwriter, Latin American music, pop, acoustic productions, cinematic music and world music.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Understanding what the song needs. Whether it's a simple accompaniment or a detailed arrangement, I focus on creating parts that elevate the music naturally.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: Musical sensitivity, expressive performances, attention to detail and years of experience creating arrangements that enhance both the emotion and identity of each project.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I begin by understanding the artist's vision, listening carefully to the demo and references. Then I record several ideas, edit the best performances, deliver organized high-quality files, and work closely with the client until they're completely satisfied.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I work from a professional recording studio equipped for high-quality remote sessions, using premium microphones, quality preamps, professional monitoring and industry-standard recording software to deliver clean, mix-ready tracks.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I'm inspired by musicians who combine technical excellence with emotional storytelling. Artists and producers like Jorge Drexler, Pat Metheny, Antônio Carlos Jobim, Gustavo Santaolalla, and Tommy Emmanuel have deeply influenced my musical approach.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I record acoustic, nylon-string and electric guitars, electric bass, and create custom arrangements for singer-songwriters, indie, folk, Latin American, pop and cinematic productions. My goal is always to enhance the song with tasteful and expressive performances.
