Brady Schwartz on SoundBetter

Original cinematic music, polished mixes, and immersive sound design that bring your vision to life.

I'm a composer, mixing engineer, mastering engineer, and sound designer specializing in cinematic, orchestral, and electronic music. Whether you need an original score that tells a story, a polished mix that translates across every playback system, or immersive sound design that brings your project to life, I'm committed to delivering professional, high-quality results.

My background combines creative artistry with technical production experience. I've worked in live broadcast production for SEC Network+ and ESPN at the University of Florida, where I developed the precision, communication, and attention to detail required to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. That same mindset carries into every project I produce.

Services I Offer:

-Original music composition for film, television, games, trailers, podcasts, and online content.

-Mixing for artists, bands, composers, podcasts, and multimedia projects.

-Mastering for streaming platforms and commercial release.

-Sound design and audio editing for film, games, advertisements, and digital media.

I specialize in cinematic, hybrid orchestral, electronic, ambient, and dramatic music, but I'm always excited to adapt my style to fit each project's creative vision. My goal is to create music and audio that not only sounds professional but also enhances the emotional impact of your project.

Interview with Brady Schwartz

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: One project I'm especially proud of is a short film I directed and composed the original score for. Creating the music allowed me to shape the emotional tone of the story from both a filmmaker and composer perspective.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I'm currently composing original scores for a couple of short films releasing this year.

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: Digital. Modern tools provide incredible flexibility, precision, and creative possibilities, allowing me to craft detailed, high-quality productions while working efficiently.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: My promise is to deliver high-quality audio, clear communication, and a collaborative experience that brings your creative vision to life.

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: What I enjoy most is bringing ideas to life through sound. I love transforming emotions, stories, and creative visions into music that connects with people and enhances their experience.

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: "Can you match the style or feeling I'm looking for?" Yes. I work closely with clients to understand their references, goals, and vision to create audio that fits the project's unique identity.

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: A common misconception is that great audio is only about technical skills. The best results come from combining technical knowledge with creativity, storytelling, and understanding the project's vision.

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: I ask about the project's vision, desired emotion, references, timeline, target audience, and any specific goals they want the final audio to achieve.

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: Look for someone who understands your vision and can enhance it creatively. Clear communication, strong references, and a collaborative process are key to creating the best final product.

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: My laptop, audio interface, studio headphones, MIDI keyboard, and a reliable pair of studio monitors. With those tools, I can compose, produce, mix, and bring ideas to life anywhere.

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: I started making music for fun on my laptop in high school, which grew into a passion for music production. Over the past 6 years, I've developed my skills in composition, production, mixing, and sound design through hands-on projects and continued learning.

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: My style blends cinematic orchestration, electronic production, and emotional storytelling. I focus on creating immersive, dynamic soundscapes that support the vision and feeling behind each project.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: Kehlani's emotional storytelling and unique vocal style inspire me. I'd love to work with Kehlani because of her ability to tell honest, emotional stories through music.

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Don't over-process your sounds. Start with strong arrangement and sound selection, then use mixing techniques to enhance the music rather than fix problems.

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: I primarily work on cinematic, orchestral, and electronic music, creating emotional soundtracks for film, games, trailers, artists, and digital media.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: My strongest skill is blending creative composition with technical production to create polished, professional-sounding music.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: I bring creativity, technical precision, and a cinematic perspective to every project, creating music and audio that enhances emotion, clarity, and impact.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: I start by understanding your vision and references, then create or refine the audio, provide progress updates, incorporate feedback, and deliver a polished final product on time.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: I work from a dedicated home studio equipped with a professional DAW, studio monitors, reference headphones, and industry-standard plugins for composing, mixing, mastering, and sound design.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: I'm inspired by Hans Zimmer, Ludwig Göransson, Brian Tyler, Deadmau5, Porter Robinson, and Illenium for their ability to blend emotion, storytelling, and innovative production.

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: I compose original music, mix and master tracks, and create custom sound design for artists, filmmakers, game developers, and content creators.
