Mixing & Mastering

Professional mastering engineer since 2008 and mixing engineer since 2015, specialising in powerful, punchy, dense and musical results for house, trance, techno, hard dance, EDM and dance-pop. I preserve each track’s identity while maximising impact, clarity and translation from the studio to the club.

With over 25 years' experience as a DJ and producer, I understand dance music from both sides of the studio. I combine technical precision with an understanding of arrangement, energy, low-frequency movement and what a record needs to achieve on the dancefloor.
I specialise in house, trance, techno, hard dance and their many subgenres, alongside EDM and dance-pop. Four-on-the-floor dance music is where my experience, instincts and musical background are strongest.
I do not force every track into the same sonic mould or pursue loudness at the expense of the music. I focus on powerful, punchy and dense results while preserving movement, emotion and identity.
I also prepare dedicated pre-vinyl masters for cutting engineers, with careful attention to low-frequency behaviour, stereo information, high-frequency energy and dynamics.
My background includes two First-Class BA (Hons) degrees in music engineering and postgraduate research into spatial hearing, immersive audio and sound localisation.
I have worked with independent producers, established artists and respected labels throughout my career. I have never pursued credits as a marketing exercise; I prefer to let the music demonstrate the standard of my work.
