About myself - I'm a Producer, Engineer and session musician (primarily on Guitar and Bass) from London and lucky enough to work in one of London newest, purpose built recording studios - Canopy. A state of the art facility, filled with high end equipment and in house production, recording, and mixing expertise to match. Having played in bands for years, I transitioned into the recording world under the tutelage of Andy Savours (Mercury Prize nominated producer known for his work with My Bloody Valentine and Black Country New Road) who in tern trained under world renowned producer/engineers, Alan Moulder and Flood. Under this mentorship you could say that I have inherited the DNA of making gritty, atmospheric and visceral sounding records that have a three dimensional quality to them. I really enjoy the textures you are able to achieve when pushing certain elements to the limit but am of course able to use a softer touch when called for. I am particularly fond of working in Alt Rock, Indie, Shoegaze, Psychedelic genres but have also have a soft spot for classic Rock n Roll, Folk and Blues - music that I grew up on. I think blending classic and modern influences is how I am able to create music that sounds relevant in the current landscape whilst taking the best of what has come before.
