Hello friend,
My name is Meletios Ioannidis and I'm a cinematic composer & producer from Greece. I have been into music since I was 13 years old starting as a keyboardist and getting my way towards music composition which was always my true passion.
Right now I'm Music Manager within Frameshift Music, acting as Head of the Public Department of the company while at the same time I also participate in some of the projects of the company as well. At the same time, I work on video game projects (Thief's Shelter, Queen's Gambit, Syncanite) including my position as in-house composer for Argo Games Studio, an Italian video production game company.
As part of my business routine, I partner with companies like Epic Music World and Pandoras Journey releasing and publishing music for them.
Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

Interview with Meletios
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Composer for video game Thief's Shelter. Very proud of the thematic vibes I provided to the game.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Video Games. Releases through labels. Releases independently.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Combining both takes time however.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Besides the quality of music....no ghosting.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being absolutely free to do whatever I want
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How much do you want for xxx? My answer is based on what I believe my skills are worth. However I am open to ''help'' smaller budget projects and people with no funding to bring their project alive. Depending on the project of course and how motivated they are and encouraged to follow their plans to the very end.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Underestimating & Undervaluing fast deliveries.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: A detailed prospect of their project. Depending on what it is of course.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don't hesitate to send me a message just to even ask whatever you have in mind.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Midi keyboard, audio interface, headphones, external disk.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Started exposing myself with my compositions since 2024. But was into music as a keyboardist and pianist since I was 13 years old.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Heavy orchestral-anime style.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Thomas Bergersen in order for me to see his approach when he starts composing a track. Gareth Coker as his assistant for a couple of months. Jesper Kyd to learn more of his sound design tools and creativity.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Pay attention more to your production stage and don't focus at all on the mixing stage of your music. Your choices in the composition stage are way more important than the mixing stage.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Video Game Music. That can include literally anything. I love getting my hands involved in hybrid compositions, but it can be orchestral only, or electronic only. Lyrical music tracks I also do very successfully!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Perspective
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Identity. Quality. Thematic tone.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Get approach by the client. Discuss his project and what he needs from me. Evaluate the whole project and provide a price. Once agreed on the price, I start composing and producing his music. Throughout the whole process I am in contact with him/her to make sure I follow what he has in mind, especially if it a one time cooperation. If it for more than one song (Like an OST of a video game) I usually get his style and deliver consistent results of what he has in mind. Also I don't charge revisions, I consider them part of my job. (Unless things get out of hand, which they never do).
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Logic Pro X. Focursite audio interface. JBL Monitors. Novation Midi 49 Keyboard.OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Two Steps From Hell and in particular Thomas. Also a long fan of Nightwish.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Anyone that needs music for his project. Here is one example: 1) I was approached by a professional pianist who needed some fantasy music for his company. He provided me with his piano recordings and ideas, I continued and composed the structure of the piece, produced the full track. Then I brought in a music production company which I work with and I took over the responsibility of recording the cello and violin we needed for the album. Then I mixed and mastered the tracks and delivered the desired result. Here is the 3 albums we produced https://open.spotify.com/artist/2GaOC5WVp71aRDQ2AgLsWU
