Hi there! I’m Phi-Long, a Berlin-based audio engineer, sound designer and producer with deep roots in hip-hop and electronic music. My background grew out of live touring and FOH work in hip-hop, alongside a long-standing connection to industrial, hardcore and noise-driven music, which shaped my ear for dynamics, texture, pressure and subtle details.
One of my key specialties is 3D audio, especially in film post-production, where I work on immersive spatial translation, surround-aware balances and detailed sound design decisions that support picture and narrative. I also bring that same precision into music, where I’m interested in spatial audio translation that feels musical, coherent and artistically intentional rather than just technically impressive.
Across recording, editing, mixing, mastering and postproduction, I focus on clean execution, strong communication and results that serve the project’s identity. My experience spans studio work, live sound, artist support and cross-media production, so I’m comfortable moving between precision vocal work, punchy low-end heavy material, abrasive textures and cinematic atmospheres.
