Professional clarinet and bass clarinet player with a classical background, working across jazz, improvisation, rock, film music, and world music.
For many years I have researched and performed traditional music from different cultures, including Balkan, Turkish, Arabic, Indian, Jewish, Italian, French Manouche, and Klezmer traditions.
I regularly record for documentaries (IDAfilms, Monopalast Production), theatre productions, contemporary art projects, and film soundtracks.
Alongside studio work, I develop site-specific musical projects exploring the relationship between sound, landscape, and architecture.
