Singer/Songwriter/Producer

I'm a singer-songwriter-producer focused on indie/folk/rock genres. I can write emotional lyrics, produce a track from an initial idea, help you with arrangement, add vocals, add guitars etc. Some of my favourite artists include Sufjan Stevens, Radiohead, and Gregory Alan Isakov. My artist project is The Dawn Roar on Spotify/Apple Music.

My favourite thing in the world is to write and produce songs. Starting from a lyric idea or a riff or chord progression, I love how a song can evolve during production. It amazes me how one choice can lead to another, often unexpected one, and before you know it you have something magical, something bigger than you ever imagined.

I spent two years studying a masters in creative music production, and during that time I learned so much about writing, arranging, producing and mixing. So I can help you take your initial idea into a fully produced track. Or if you just need help with one element, like writing or refining lyrics, or mixing your stems, I can help with that too. My primary instruments are guitar and voice, and I can play a bit of keys. I've got pretty good at drum programming too!
