Natalie Bibby is a mastering engineer and recipient of the prestigious ‘Mastering Engineer of the Year’ Award 2026, making her one of the youngest engineers ever to receive the accolade.
She began her career at Metropolis Studios, where she spent nearly a decade developing a distinctive mastering approach that bridges traditional techniques with a modern perspective. With a background in mixing, Natalie works closely with artists to realise their creative vision, delivering masters with clarity, impact, and emotional depth.
Recent highlights include mastering and vinyl cutting for Deary’s debut album Birding, named Rough Trade’s Album of the Month, and mastering the official soundtrack for the BBC’s acclaimed series Riot Women. Since joining AIR Studios, Natalie has expanded her work across film and television, with credits for the BBC, Sky, and Netflix. Most recently, she mastered the soundtrack for Netflix’s Apex, currently the most watched film in the world in 2026, reaching over 38.2 million viewers within its first two weeks.
