Reviews of Make Noise Audio

Sam remixed one of my tracks for an EP that came out last year and he did a very accomplished and professional job. It ended up being one of the most popular tracks on the label. I have listened to many pieces of Sam's work and they are always top quality.

I had several opportunities to work with Sam and this is always a pleasure. A very professional and talented producer & audio engineer , do not miss him ! definitely worthy !

Sam was extremely approachable, very professional and delivered the project to a tight deadline. I have worked with Sam on a couple of occasions and have found him really easy to work with. If you are looking for a versatile, enthusiastic and skilled audio specialist then Sam Pemberton ticks all of those boxes.

Sam's work is always top quality. Used his remixing skills in 2011-12 for two remixes, one on a self released free EP and another on a Digitally Released EP. His production skills are highly professional both writing and mixing.

Interview with Make Noise Audio

Which artist would you like to work with and why?
Mark Ronson as his latest album Uptown Special has an amazing clarity and sound that I have not heard in a long time.
Can you share one music production tip?
Less is more.
What type of music do you usually work on?
Anything with a solid soulful melody, soul is a soft spot at the moment.
What's your strongest skill?
Not being restricted to specific genres.
What do you bring to a song?
A different sound.
What's your typical work process?
Listening to inspirational tracks that I want to influence the piece of music, write a simple melody, create a simple drum pattern, expand on the melody and drum work and hopefully that is a solid starting point for the track.
Tell us about your studio setup.
I have a very simple writing setup consisting of a Mac Mini running Ableton 9, Genelec monitoring, Audient audio interface, Moog Little Phatty & a M-Audio MIDI keyboard.
Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
The most common work we do are creating original music and sound design for visual media; film, TV, advertising and so.
