Ruby White is the daughter of NYC rock vocalist and singer-songwriter Angel Starling (Angel Starling & No Mercy, Big Blonde Voice) and granddaughter of jazz musician/arranger Ray Starling (Stan Kenton Orchestra, Buddy Rich Big Band, & more). She is honored and committed to keeping her family legacy of music alive. After briefly studying film, she became a birth doula. She is an avid writer of lyrics, poetry + memoir and runs a recording studio in CT with Taylor Budahazy (Wildstreet, producer/engineer/guitarist) called Sinister Studios. Her first single dropped this past June and her EP is coming out at the end of the summer (Sad Girl Cinema).
