Engineering credits ranging from Lainey Wilson to LoCash. I fit in from the start of the song to final mix. As a drummer with a full home studio and writing experience I help artists and writers build their track from the ground up with authenticity and quality in mind.
I have been a professional in Nashville TN for the last 9 years and have a degree in audio engineering, minor in music business.
I have worked in almost every aspect of the music industry from studio engineer, to live musician, producer, writer, and even the business side.
Quality over quantity is the biggest part of how I work. I want to make the process smooth and fun for each client. I take pride in learning about the artist/writer before beginning any work.
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Interview with Tim Miller
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My career path started with studio engineer jobs, then business side of the industry, producer, now producer, writer and drummer.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is lyrics and melody first, instruments on a recording are supposed to serve the song not show off.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with Muscadine Bloodline because their sound is so raw and authentic.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Keep a recording going even if you mess up.. you may stumble into a new idea that can inspire something totally new.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I typically work on country americana songs.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is my studio drumming.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring an A&R minded perspective to the song. I want your music to be successful and as high quality as you do.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to listen to through the song two times before even playing along. I then play along to the song once or twice before hitting record. If you hire me to record drums for your song you will receive three different playlists of full drums. When I am producing a track I like to build each element at a time feeling out what the song calls for as the production becomes more and more full.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is based on the Universal Audio Apollo interface system with an x8p, a Twin X, and a focusrite octopre for additional drum channels. I am able to record up to 18 tracks of live drums or a full band all at once. I use pro tools as my DAW and Adam Audio S2V studio monitors
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Steve Gadd, John Bonham and James Taylor are my biggest inspirations.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Remote Drum recording, audio editing, tuning, and mixing.
