Kev | Producer & Beat Maker in Berlin

I'm Kevin, founder of Perspectiva Paralela Records. I produce, record, mix, and create from a studio in Berlin.

Music Project Management, but what that really means is:

I CARE ABOUT YOUR idea. I don't just hand you a beat. I listen, ask questions, and help you shape your vision into something real. Whether it's a full song, an intro for your YouTube channel, or an interlude that connects your story, I'm here for the long conversation, not the quick sale.

I play bass, guitar, and piano. I've performed live at comic shops, cafes, and warehouse events in Berlin. I've been on your side – nervous, excited, looking for someone who actually listens. That's the producer I try to be.

A few recent projects: recording 5 artists for G.I.M.A.E. (J-pop), producing indie artist Taim Machine (1k+ streams), and the urban single "Mutuo" with Grantssun.

How I work: Send me a voice memo, lyrics, a demo, or just a reference track. I'll take it from there. Fair terms, clear split sheet, and you keep 100% of your lyrics and melody. Typical turnaround: 3-7 days. I speak English, Spanish. I work with artists worldwide.

I'm not here to sell you a service. I'm here to help you finish something you're proud of.

👉 DM me with your idea. Let's create something real – no pressure, just music 4700.

Interview with Kev.Alexnder

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Recording 5 live artists for G.I.M.A.E. (J-pop). I was the producer, arranger, and recording engineer. I played bass, guitar, and trumpet on some tracks. The result was cohesive and the artists were genuinely happy – that was very rewarding.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I'm producing a debut EP for an indie rapper (Robin) and finishing a YouTube music pack for a holistic wellness channel. Also preparing live looping sets for upcoming Berlin events.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Not yet – I'm new here. But once I collaborate with other pros, I'll update this

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Both. Analog for warmth and character (I love recording bass/guitar through a DI or small amp), digital for flexibility and recall. I use hybrid workflows.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I promise to listen, to be transparent about rights and costs, and to deliver a track you're proud of. No hidden fees, no confusion.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: he moment when an artist hears their idea become a real song. That smile is why I do this.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Q: 'Do I keep 100% of my lyrics?' A: Yes, always. You keep your publishing rights. I only keep the beat (non‑exclusive license unless you buy exclusivity).

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That making beats is just clicking a mouse. There's a lot of listening, arrangement, recording live instruments, and emotional connection involved. It's not just a product, it's a collaboration.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: What's your main goal for this song? What's your budget and deadline? Do you have any reference tracks? Do you already have lyrics or a melody? Are you planning to release commercially or just for promotion?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Look for someone who listens first and sells second. Read reviews, listen to samples, and have a clear idea of your budget and timeline. Transparency is key , both ways.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: My bass guitar, a laptop with Ableton, a small interface, headphones, and a portable recorder for capturing sounds

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I started playing bass and guitar in bands, then moved into production. I studied Music Project Management and have been producing professionally for about 5 years. I also run my own label, Perspectiva Paralela Records.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: Organic, warm, and groove‑oriented. I like natural sounds (bass, guitar, piano) mixed with electronic textures. My productions aim to feel human, not robotic

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I'd love to work with FKJ. His ability to layer live instruments and create immersive, spontaneous sets is inspiring. I'd bring my own live looping and bass playing to a session like that.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Don't over-process. Less is often more. Get the recording right at the source , a good performance and a clean recording will save you hours of mixing later.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Lo-fi, hip-hop, indie, electronic, pop, Drum&Bass and ambient. But I'm open to other genres . I enjoy the challenge of adapting to different styles.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Turning rough ideas into release-ready tracks. Whether you have a voice memo or just a feeling, I can help you shape it into a full song. Also, clear communication and fair terms (you keep 100% of your lyrics/melody).

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: Beyond beats and mixing, I bring structure and care. My Music Project Management background helps me organize ideas from start to finish. I also play bass, guitar, and piano – so I add live instrumentation when it fits. Most importantly, I listen.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: First, I listen to the artist's idea , a voice memo, lyrics, reference track, or demo. Then I ask questions to understand their vision. I create a custom beat, record vocals (in my studio or remotely), mix, master, and deliver WAV/MP3 files. I include 2 revisions and always provide a split sheet.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: The studio is a hybrid setup based in Berlin: a laptop running Ableton Live, a high‑quality audio interface, studio monitors, and a few essential mics (dynamic and condenser). I have my main instruments always ready: a bass, a guitar, a MIDI keyboard, and some hand percussion. I also use professional plugins and a Splice subscription for samples. The space is acoustically treated for a reliable monitoring environment. I believe in a clean, organized workflow , so I spend less time troubleshooting and more time creating

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: FKJ for his organic, live-looping approach; Anderson .Paak for his groove and energy; Tyler, The Creator for his creative and bold production style. I also admire producers like Bonobo and Flying Lotus.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I usually produce full songs from scratch: beat making, vocal recording, mixing, and mastering. I also work on YouTube content (intros, interludes, outros) and remote mixing when clients send me their stems.
