I offer professional songwriting, music production, vocal production, vocal comping, and top-lining, and can turn your lyrics into top-of-the-charts-sounding songs by providing highly catchy and memorable melodies with chord progressions that bring out the absolute best of the melodies. I heavily rely on "goosebumps" for all the work I do. If it doesn't give me goosebumps, then there's still a lot of work to be done. I was on the Bravo TV Songwriting Reality Show, Platinum Hit, created by Evan and Timothy Bogart, hosted by Jewel and Kara Dioguardi, and ended up writing the most #1 songs on the show tied with Sonyae Elise.
Over 35 years in the music industry, and have had the honor of working with many music legends, Grammy-award winners / nominees, awesome artists, songwriters, musicians, arrangers, producers and engineers including:

  1. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  2. A: I offer professional songwriting, music production, vocal production, vocal comping, and top-lining, and can turn your lyrics into top-of-the-charts-sounding songs by providing highly catchy & memorable melodies with customized chord progressions that bring out the absolute best of the melodies. The right chords matter a lot to me & when you have the right chords, it makes a massive difference to the emotion & presentation of the melodies. Also, if you have an awesome-sounding track that speaks to me, and that I vibe with, I can turn the track into a powerful, catchy, radio-friendly, complete song. One of my favorite things to do is write & top-line over amazing tracks. Feel free to send me your tracks 24/7. Lastly, I also specialize in fixing songs that are broken or not working in their current state. I have over 35 years experience in the music industry, and have had the honor of working with many music legends, Grammy-award winners and nominees, awesome artists, songwriters, musicians, arrangers, producers and engineers including: Paul Oakenfold, David Campbell, Leon Thomas, Sonyae Elise, Val Garay, Firstborn (Roahn Hylton), Mark Needham, Tommy Sims, Matt Chamberlain, Jim Keltner, Abe Laboriel Jr., Mateo Laboriel, Viktor Strauss, Allen Sides, Tayla Parx, Amber Riley, Bridget Kelly, Twice, Stooshe, Tchad Blake, Johnny Manuel, Austin Bis, Oz Fritz, David Kershenbaum, Ariel Pink, and many more... 3. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  4. A: One of the projects I worked on that makes me smile a lot is Twice's "Signal" album, which will hit Gold status this year. I was a writer on the album, and when I watch You Tube videos of Twice singing what I co-wrote to thousands of fans and the fans singing it back, it truly warms my heart.

  5. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  6. A: I'm working on a few different projects right now that I'm ridiculously excited about, including my album. All the music from the projects I'm currently working on will be released this year and next year.

  7. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  8. A: Music and animals are my life. I've been wrapped & filled with music in me since birth. It is by far my number one passion, along with helping and fighting for all the defenseless, hopeless animals in the world. Working on music and helping animals is my sanity in this world.

  9. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  10. A: My Casio Casiotone MT-68 (named Mia), a tape recorder, a shitload of batteries, my dog Stanley & poop bags.

  11. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  12. A: Over 35 years. I started writing & recording songs at age 7.

  13. Q: How would you describe your style?

  14. A: All genres really, but I tend to include the following elements in my work: super melodic, emotional, experimental, atmospheric, alternative / indie flavor and vibes, free, out of the box, no rules / just experience and gut.

  15. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  16. A: Rick Rubin, Jon Brion, Mark "Spike" Stent, Bjork, Radiohead, Guns N' Roses, Stone Temple Pilots, Billy Joel, Beck, Elvis Presley, Frankie Laine, Neil Diamond, Elton John, The Presidents of the United States of America, Faith No More, The Beatles, Cage The Elephant, Gotye, Sohn, John Mayer, Pearl Jam, Stevie Wonder

  17. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  18. A: I work on all types of music. Again, anything that gives me goosebumps or that I feel I can turn into something that makes me & the majority of all listeners feel the same way I do. I usually work on pop, indie rock or pop, hip-hop, alternative, k-pop & soundtrack / atmospheric / ethereal orchestral music.
