Working with Max Molinek is something I'd genuinely recommend. He worked with me on a remote unpaid collaboration on an eclectic cover EP spanning ska and reggae, two genres he hadn't previously worked in, with messy source material and a mixing nightmare on paper. The fact that he stuck with it says a lot about his dedication. What stood out most was his communication, quickness and openness throughout. He never got defensive when feedback came in, stayed responsive even when things got complicated, and turnaround on revisions was genuinely impressive. I'd definitely recommend him.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Reaper, Yamaha HS7 and plugins
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: After everything is phase aligned, I put compressor on my Master bus and then mix everything from kick upwards.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: For rock, It's Chris Lord-Alge. For heavy music, definitely Buster Odeholm
