Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Ive so stoked to have been able to write music that has gone on to be nominated for rewards, and to have material that people continually listen too!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Just finished up working on a punk record for a band I love. My first venture into producing punk, I loved it!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, different strokes for different folks.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You WILL love how it sounds.

A: Working with so many different and creative people
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How did you make it sound so good!? In all seriousness, the more questions the better. It helps build understanding
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I write songs for un-creative people.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are your goals? How do you want to see the song in 10 years time...
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Go for what your project needs. Not just who looks the best.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Guitar, amp, pen, paper and computer.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Ive always loved writing songs from an early age. My time at music school, performing and writing regularly really helped me understand that careers really can be made in doing what you love! Ive not looked back since.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Fun, emotive and dedicated.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Sampha. The voice, the piano, the production!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is more, sometimes.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Singer-Songwriter mostly, but love delving into new genres. Especially Neo-Soul type beats and over the top Pop.

A: "Is it a hook though?"
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Being mobile allows me to work in many awesome spaces. But when im at home, I run Logic Pro X. Its great for composing and I love using it for mixing down to its user friendly vibe. Slate Digital plugins keep me sounding pro and my Focusrite Pro 24DSP gets me recording properly, every time.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: James Vernon, James Blake, Tony Maserati, Sean Carey... all wizards in their own right!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Topline and melody writing for sure. I love hooks!
