Artist and engineer with over 20 years of hands-on recording, touring, and production experience. I help artists shape raw tracks into clear, powerful, professional tracks through detailed editing, dynamic mixing, and polished mastering that keeps the emotion and vision of the artist intact and produces industry-ready results.

I'm Josh Nason Lane, founder of Pro Standard Studio in Columbus, Ohio. I'm a recording engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and artist with a lifelong foundation in music and hands-on experience across recording, touring, live production, and artist development. My background includes working behind the scenes in live production with PromoWest, touring as a guitar and piano tech, and contributing to major productions involving artists such as Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, and Tool. I was also fortunate to receive early mentorship and creative development connected to Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty and Evan Lamberg, President of Universal Music Publishing. This gave me firsthand exposure to the professional music industry from both the creative and executive side. Later, I collaborated, recorded, and toured nationally with members of Matchbox Twenty, including Kyle Cook. At Pro Standard Studio, I specialize in mixing, mastering, and detailed audio editing for artists worldwide. My approach combines artist intuition with technical precision to bring out clarity, balance, depth, and emotion in every track. I focus on removing distractions, refining the details, and delivering polished industry-ready tracks that still feel true to the artist. Whether you need a clean, powerful mix, transparent editing, or a polished final master, my goal is to help your music hit at the highest level.
