I strive to always put in the effort and focus needed to do a good job and I want us to both be happy with the final product. I'll help bring your song to life, and aim to make it as loud as possible while maintaining the dynamics present. Of course, I can push it more in any direction. Unless otherwise noted, I'll also give it some analog-like glue, warmth, & body via various compression & tape-saturation (but only as needed).

It is true that most of a 'good' mix comes from a 'good' recording, and that also definitely applies to getting a 'good' master. BUT, there's actually a lot you can do in mastering, especially now with modern plugins, and so a lot of wisdom about mastering is flawed or incomplete. It can be much more than just throwing on a limiter. You can very noticeably change a song for the better by properly adjusting the frequency balance via EQ & saturation for example, and this can also go a long way for how perceptually loud it becomes on streaming services.

For any multi-track uploads, I will also make sure the songs have their loudness balanced with each other. In the past I have had professional mastering engineers overlook this. Spotify for example will normalize songs if they are in a playlist but they are otherwise normalized in relation to the loudest song on an album or EP if you're listening that way.
