Hi, I’m Katanohh.
If you’re looking to create something different with a unique vision, let’s work.
I’m a music producer and mixing/mastering engineer specialized in urban, electronic, and psychedelic music, open to any genre. My work goes beyond making a track sound good—I focus on enhancing the artist’s identity, blending your vision with mine to create something distinctive, engaging, and competitive at a professional industry level.
I have experience in trap, rap, drill, and more experimental styles, incorporating influences from neo-soul, jazz, and alternative sounds to achieve productions with real character.
With advanced technical training and hands-on studio experience, I bring a personal and unique approach. I don’t follow formulas—I aim for the different, the dark, the spatial, the heavy, and the unusual.
I handle the full process, from idea to final release. I’m also a DJ, sound engineer, and music production teacher, which allows me to approach music from a broader perspective.
Beyond the sound, I prioritize respect, clear communication, and good energy—key elements for any project to flow.
Let’s make music.
Best of luck.

Interview with Katanohh
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: First, congratulate him for investing his time and money in what he loves; few people do that. Second, tell him to keep going—don’t give up. Making a living from this is a long career that requires a lot of effort, but it is possible.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Water, matches, a bow and arrow, and a knife.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I studied at MAD ESCUELA, the most recognized school in Argentina, and alongside that I trained with mixing and mastering professors to get a solid cross-reference of knowledge. I’ve made more than 40 songs, released over 100 beats, and spent 5 years in the music industry, also working as a DJ and live sound technician, as well as an advanced music production teacher.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Dark, ambient, heavy, spatial, journey, dense, introspective.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Don Toliver. I like his artistic approach, it’s different and his voice is magical. I feel that if he sings over one of my beats it would sound excellent. Don, if you’re reading this, let’s make a song.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Transmit. Don’t look at numbers and graphs, use your ears more. It can look wrong visually but still be perfect in terms of sound.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Trap, Rap, Techno, and Drumless.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: The darkness in my sound.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring what flows from within me—mostly spatial, dark, dense atmospheres with bounce and movement. I don’t like to copy; if I’m hired, it’s for my sound and what I can deliver from the deepest place.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When I receive the artist’s references and vocals, I do a very active listen to what they sent. Sometimes I look for similar music to reinforce the direction. Then I start creating: I open FL Studio from scratch, drop the vocals in, and build the beat around them to adapt perfectly. Once the beat is ready, I send a first draft for approval, then continue with beat mixing, vocal mixing, full mix, and pre-mastering. I send this second version, and if approved, I finish the mastering and deliver.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My temple of creation is built around my energy and the tools that make the music possible. The gear doesn’t define the sound, but it helps: Asus laptop, Behringer UMC404HD, Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro headphones.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by the productions of Don Toliver, Pink Floyd, Metro Boomin, Travis Scott, and Tame Impala.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mostly full productions. Artists send me their idea and references, we discuss the project, its direction, and what they want to express. Once everything is clear, they send demo vocals and I handle the beat, vocal editing, mixing, and mastering.
