Hello!

My name is Zane Raven and I am a singer songwriter living in Brooklyn NY. I moved here about two years ago from the historic Woodstock NY area and have been playing music since I was 7 years old. I have spent the last 21 years perfecting my craft on all the necessary instruments for production and song creation. I have performed in festivals and played with a wide range of musicians, spanning genres like R&B, Rock, Jazz, and everything in between. I promise you that I can help you achieve the sound you are looking for and in the process be an incredible collaborator and interpreter for your vision. I currently record out of my home studio and can provide assistance with songwriting, arrangements, production, and instrumentation.

A: I've been working on building my career for the last 10 years.

A: Experimental, Explorative, psychedelic.

A: Jeff Buckley. His approach to songwriting and the mastery of presentation allows the emotional depth of his songs to ring through.

A: I work efficiently with a soulful approach to attempt to capture the most heartfelt performances on any given track.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a a 4 mic drum kit, an sm7b for vocals, JBL Monitors, Electric guitar, 12 string acoustic, Bass guitar, and keyboard.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I commonly provide assistance writing an instrument part for an established demo or song idea. I can then record and mix it to fit the sound. I also am a capable lyricist, songwriter, and production consultant.
