I can do all the keyboards for your song in my own studio. I am an experienced producer so I know how to focus on the essential elements for your tracks. My eclectic background means I am used to providing a wide range of sounds, from acoustic Piano, Hammond, Accordion, Harmonium, as well as synthesisers and sample libraries.
I am a keyboardist, multi instrumentalist, composer, and producer.
I have 40+ years of experience, from recording and touring with Sinéad O’Connor, to recording and writing on the award-winning Sing Street soundtrack.
I offer session keyboards and bespoke composition for artists who need a professional, record-ready sound.
My work has been featured in major motion pictures and TV productions for the BBC, Channel 4, and TG4.
I specialise in collaborating on ideas with songwriters and music producers, writing arrangements, and recording the results.

Interview with Graham Henderson
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I was the the producer for The Great Irish Songbook by the Irish band Dervish. So I got to produce tracks for Vince Gill, Rhiannon Giddens, David Gray, Brendan Gleeson, Abigail Washburn, Steve Earle, Imelda May, Kate Ruby, Andrea Corr, and Jamie Johnson
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am producing a recording for Alyth McCormack and Triona Marshall from the Cheiftans.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: No preference.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will do everything I can to make this music work.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love being a musician. I love the people. I love getting a little better at it everyday.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Can you help me? Yes.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: It depends, If it's a corporate client the main question will be about the schedule for delivery. With people who are making albums and songwriters it is more about emotion, colour and tone. I will definitely ask how they want the track/song to feel. If I can build a good relationship with clients then there are a lot less questions.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I am musically curious, so I have a wide skill set. I listen and play.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Daniel Lanois, because he understands what it is.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Close your eyes and listen.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Usually people are asking for piano as well as various keyboards. When they get to know me they start asking for guitar and other instruments I have here in the studio. Currently I am doing a lot of writing, I am releasing an album later this year.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I have a good understanding of how music works.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I hope I can find something relevant to bring to the essence of a song. Songs are shaped by the nature of the people involved.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Once I have a brief from a client I will get to work on arrangements and get a plan for what needs to happen. Sometimes it is best to press record and improvise, then listen and edit. If I am composing music for a film there will need to be conversations about the tone and style. Songwriting is often very collaborative and can take bit of honing. I am a songwriter, so I like writing lyrics.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a selection of Nord, Roland and Novation keyboards as well as an upright Yamaha U3 and a Fantini accordion. I also have acoustic and electric guitars, and mandolins. For recording I use an Antelope interface, Focal speakers, Focusrite, Grace, and Joe Meek preamps, and a selection of decent microphones.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I have been a live performer and studio musician all of my working life. These days I am often producing or writing for clients as well as recording remotely or in a live situation.
