My name is Francisco Teixeira, also known as Alencis. I’m a Portuguese music producer and DJ focused on helping artists achieve the sound they truly want, from the initial idea to a final, release-ready track.
I work across different styles of modern music, adapting to each artist’s vision while keeping a strong focus on quality, clarity and impact. Whether you need full production, mixing, mastering or help finishing a track, my goal is always the same: to deliver music that translates well across platforms and feels right to the artist.
My work has reached the Top 30 on Beatport, and I’ve had the opportunity to produce in professional environments such as STMPD RCRDS. I’ve also worked with multiple Portuguese pop artists and delivered official remixes, which gave me solid experience in both commercial and more niche contexts.
What sets me apart is not just the technical side, but the ability to understand what an artist is really aiming for and turn that into a finished product. I focus on clean, balanced mixes, strong low-end, and overall cohesion so the track feels complete and competitive.
If you're looking for someone who takes your vision seriously and can turn it into a professional, release-ready track, I can help.

Interview with Francisco Teixeira
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: One of the projects I’m most proud of reached the Top 30 on Beatport. I handled the entire production process, ensuring the track had a strong identity, high-quality sound and real club impact.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I’m currently developing new music and collaborations, focusing on building a distinctive sound and preparing upcoming releases.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I don’t recommend specific names, as it really depends on the project. SoundBetter has a wide range of high-level professionals, so I always advise clients to choose based on style, credits and previous work that truly matches their vision.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, for flexibility, speed and precision. It allows me to work efficiently and achieve a professional, release-ready sound without limitations.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise is to deliver a high-quality, release-ready track that reflects your vision while adding a strong artistic identity.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: What I enjoy most is taking an idea and turning it into a finished, release-ready track with a clear identity and impact.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Clients usually ask how long it will take and how the process works. I explain the full workflow clearly, from idea to final master, and set realistic timelines depending on the project.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: One of the biggest misconceptions is that music production is just technical. In reality, it’s about creative direction, taste and making the right decisions to bring a track to life.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask about the artistic vision, references, target audience, and the intended use of the track (club, streaming, etc.). I also check what stage the project is in and what level of involvement the client expects from me.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Look for someone with a clear artistic identity, not just technical skills. A good producer should understand your vision and elevate it, not just execute instructions.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop with FL Studio, studio headphones, audio interface, MIDI keyboard, and a portable SSD with my sound libraries.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started producing music at a young age and have been consistently developing my sound over the years. What began as a self-taught process turned into professional work, including projects developed at STMPD RCRDS and releases that reached the Top 30 on Beatport. Over time, I’ve worked with different artists, gaining experience across both commercial and more niche music.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: A distinctive blend of groove, rhythm and emotion, inspired by afro and latin elements with a modern electronic sound.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I’d love to work with artists like Black Coffee or Keinemusik, as I’m really aligned with their groove-driven, afro-influenced sound and strong musical identity.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don’t overcomplicate your mix. Focus on balance first, if levels are right, you’ll need far less processing. A clean and well-balanced track will always sound more professional than an over-processed one.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Club-focused electronic music blending afro house, latin tech and tech house elements.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Building unique, high-quality electronic tracks from idea to final master.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a strong sense of direction, helping shape ideas into something clear and cohesive. I focus on clean sound, solid low-end, and making sure every element serves the track. My goal is to make the song feel complete, impactful and true to the artist’s vision.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by understanding the artist’s vision, references and goals. From there, I build or refine the track, focusing on arrangement, sound selection and overall direction. Once the production is solid, I move into mixing, ensuring clarity, balance and impact. Final tweaks are made based on feedback to deliver a release-ready result.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work in FL Studio on a Mac M4 Max, using ADAM Audio H7V monitors and Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro headphones. My setup is focused on accuracy and translation, allowing me to make precise decisions in mixing, low-end balance and overall clarity.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by artists and producers like HUGEL and Fred again.., who combine strong identity, groove and clean, impactful production. I’m also influenced by modern pop and electronic music focused on emotion and energy.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mainly work with artists who need help turning ideas, demos or unfinished tracks into fully produced, release-ready songs. This includes production, arrangement, mixing and overall sound direction to achieve a clean, balanced and professional result.
