Randy Hess - Country Music Producer and Musician I spent 25 years in Nashville, playing for some of the best and biggest artists in country music. I also produced songs and albums for singers and songwriters. Now, living in Southern California, I bring that Nashville sound and flair to local singers and songwriters, live and in the studio.

Born & raised in Northeastern PA into a deeply musical family, my journey with music began early. At just 10 years old, I joined my dad's country band, which eventually transformed into a family band. Starting with the snare drum, I gradually picked up the bass guitar, then ventured into lead & pedal steel guitar.
In 1988, at the age of 24, I made the bold move to Nashville. Immersing myself in the vibrant country music scene, I quickly found myself collaborating with some of the industry's biggest names. From sharing the stage with icons like Trace Adkins, Tom T. Hall, Kelly Pickler, Dierks Bentley, and Gretchen Wilson to spending countless hours in the studio, including running my own project studio, my time in Nashville was truly enriching. Some of the demo songs I contributed to eventually found their way to becoming hits for major artists.
After a fulfilling 25 years in Nashville, I embarked on a new chapter in Southern California. Captivated by the local music scene, I've embraced the opportunity to play with a diverse range of bands whenever possible. Additionally, I've had the privilege of lending my talents to some exceptional tracks by local artists & songwriters. My mission now is to bring that authentic Nashville Sound to those seeking it in Southern California.
