Through his independent firm, Cunningham Acoustic Design + Engineering (CAD+E), Jack provides high-fidelity mastering and recording services for music, podcasts, and dialogue. Specializing in hybrid analog-digital workflows, he ensures sonic consistency, clarity, and competitive loudness across diverse genres ranging from intimate chamber music to contemporary vocal sessions. His expertise also extends into the specialized field of archival and forensic audio restoration, where he has experience preserving sensitive historical testimonials and restoring legacy recordings.
Background:
A graduate of the University of Rochester with a concentration in Audio Engineering, Jack has served as the President of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) and Chief Engineer for WRUR 88.5. His unique dual-track (acoustics and recording arts) career allows him not only to design the world's most advanced listening environments but also to deliver the final creative polish to the audio produced within them. Jack also has some experience as an Acoustic and AV Systems Design Consultant from his time at the world-renowned Walters-Storyk Design Group (WSDG).
