Modern session drummer based near Kraków, Poland, delivering high-end remote drum recordings for artists and producers worldwide.
I record live acoustic drums in a professionally treated studio using premium multi-mic setups, focusing on clarity, depth, and mix-ready sound from the source. Every performance is crafted to elevate the song — not just play it — with a strong emphasis on feel, dynamics, and musical intent.
Specializing in rock, modern metal, indie, funk, jazz, progressive, and cinematic productions, I adapt to whatever the track demands: from tight, punch-driven grooves and aggressive modern energy to subtle jazz articulation, organic textures, and expansive cinematic builds.
My approach is simple: the drums should serve the record, not compete with it. I aim to deliver parts that feel intentional, emotional, and production-ready without requiring extra fixing.

Interview with S.Biela
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I worked on an album with my friend whose artist name is kliczewski in which he gave me a lot of freedom, while recording drum parts, what makes this album really special.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on the progressive metal band, which I'm recording with a very skilled guitarist.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: DIgital, because I don't have money for analog equipment yet :(
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I will give my 100% to make my drum parts sound the way that you want them to sound.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: That I can earn money just by doing what I love.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I ask them about things like what they are going for in this song and if they want me to play just one groove and a couple of fills or If they give a little bit of free hand.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been doing this for twelve years already and I have first started recording drums approximately one year ago.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Energy and flow making listeners fall into rhytmical wave.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I listen to a song while already creating drum parts in my head, then I improvise around it, make it more structurized and finally I record it.

A: I own a presonus Studio 1824c interface connected to my AKG Drum Set Session I mic kit and RØDE NT5 S which pick up my hihat. The room in which I record is acoustically treated, so there won't be much reverb in the recording and the cymbals have more clear sound.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My biggest inspirations are Zackgrooves, Noah Fuerbringer, Eric Moore, Chris Turner, JD Beck, Larnell Lewis and many more.
