I'm Tim Beau Bennett, a professional Pedal Steel Guitarist, guitarist, and square neck dobro player in Sydney.

I play pedal steel with a lot of classic ands modern country bands, as well as with lots of rock and indie bands that want the texture of the steel, but not the twang. I also play with a lot of bluegrass bands on acoustic guitar and square neck dobro (that's the type you play horizontally, with a slide).

As for electric guitar, I played in the Toronto jazz scene for a few years, have played in dozens of rock bands, and regularly play in musical orchestras, which require good reading and a really wide pallet.
