Mastering engineer specializing in K-Pop, Game Soundtracks and Vinyl records. With deep experience in both digital mastering and vinyl mastering, and access to an in-house vinyl pressing plant, I help artists and composers translate their music perfectly across streaming platforms, high-fidelity playback systems, and vinyl records.
Hi, I'm Ed Kim, a mastering engineer based in Seoul, South Korea.
I specialize in K-Pop, Game Soundtracks, and vinyl mastering, working with artists, composers, and producers who want their music to translate beautifully across streaming platforms, high-
fidelity playback systems, and physical formats.
My mastering work has been trusted by major global game studios including:
• ShiftUp — Stellar Blade Full Soundtrack Mastering
• miHoYo — Genshin Concert 2021
• KuroGames — Wuthering Waves Soundtrack Mastering
I have also contributed mastering and vinyl production work for artists including Zion.T, Super Junior, Jay Park, QWER, A. R. Rahman, Hiroshi Fujiwara, and many more.
Through these projects I have worked with large-scale orchestral recordings, hybrid cinematic scores, electronic productions, K-Pop, and global pop music.
Beyond digital mastering, I also operate alongside a professional vinyl pressing plant, which gives me a unique perspective when preparing masters for vinyl production. This allows me to optimize dynamics, low-frequency management, and translation specifically for vinyl cutting and pressing — something many mastering engineers rarely experience firsthand.
If you're looking for mastering that preserves musical emotion while delivering clarity, depth, and translation across all formats, I would love to help bring your music to its final form.
Send me an email through 'Contact' button above and I'll get back to you asap.
