Remote Session Drummer

I’m a song-first session drummer offering musical, collaborative remote drum recording for indie, pop, rock, and jazz-informed projects. I focus on feel, tone, and communication so you get a part that supports your song — not just a generic drum track. I record live drums that serve the song — with feel, tone, and musicality first. I've worked with several artists and Grammy Award-winning producers and will apply the skills I've learned to your project!

Whether you need something subtle and supportive for indie/folk, a tighter pop/rock pocket, or a more open jazz-informed or experimental approach, I focus on building a part that fits your track and helps the song feel better.

I’ve worked as a freelance drummer on 50+ albums, plus film/TV and soundtrack projects, and I’ve recorded and performed across a wide stylistic range. My background includes a Master’s in Jazz Studies from CalArts, touring/recording work with Pure Bathing Culture, and ongoing recording, performance, and teaching work from my remote studio in New Mexico.

I have a fully professional recording setup in a room that's been fine-tuned and treated specifically for incredible drum sounds. I have a large collection of vintage and modern drums and cymbals, along with a wide selection of microphones, preamps, and premium RME conversion.
