Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Ask every question you might have, so we can start in the same page. Feedback is king.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: Started as a drummer at a very young age, and I was constantly interested in production and mixing, I ve worked with known local artists , and have my own studio where I do production, Mix & Master since 2005. I ve lost count of how many tracks and albums I ve worked on since then!

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would like to work with Alicia Keys, she is an incredible artist.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Quincy Jones, Beatles, Justin Timberlake, and a large etc!

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: I will deliver all my experience and creativity to reach the objective. I will not stop till we are there! Im also a drummer and producer, so Im three in one at the time of mixing.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Open a new session, import routing template and audio. I make a rough mix only with faders and pan pots. Then I listen several times the song and take notes. I would start the mix itself from coarse to fine, compresion, eq, verbs, etc. Finally automation and the subtle things. Done!

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: Back in 2015 I was mixing and editing vocals for a tv program "tu cara me suena" in Argentina. So many songs in a really tight deadline was challenging, and Im very proud of it.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Very dynamic and energetic.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: Emotion, energy, dynamic listening. I like to make subtle changes throughout the song to keep interest all the way.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I m producing/mixing a duet from disney.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Andres Mayo. He is a Mastering engineer, he is really awesome.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I wont stop till you are satisfied.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: When I finish preparing with all the technical stuff, and comes the time for art and creativity.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: Mixing is not magic. Many things have to be adressed before that instance. Composition , arrangement,tracking, performance and production . Many incredible things can be done in the mix, believe me . A lot. But is not magic.A bad production cannot be fixed in the mixing process.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: How do you want to sound? do you have a rough mix and a comercial reference? whats the track count?

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Laptop. Interface.sm 58.sony mdr 7506. and a midi controller

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Latin, Reggaeton, pop, edm. I do some indie too.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I mix mostly, also I do mastering, programming,session drumming ,tuning, post production and editing.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Digital. I know both worlds, digital is faster with little cost (if any). But the main reason..... recalls.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Organize well your session, this is key for a great outcome. proper Gain staging in a mix is crucial Know your room and listen tons of music in it.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: Very simple setup since I mix ITB. Killer machine, RME converters, my dynaudios and 7506. Thats it !
