Fabio Mazzini is an Italian composer, guitarist, and singer based in Imola (Bologna). He began touring Italy and Germany in 2014 with the band Anne Bonny and made his solo debut in 2018 with Riverman, blending American folk songwriting with ’90s alternative influences.
A graduate of the Jazz Conservatory of Ferrara, he performed at the Crossroads Festival with the On Time Jazz Orchestra conducted by Cristiano Arcelli. He has recorded with Hononga 4tet and collaborated on projects ranging from jazz, world music, and electronic improvisation to contemporary songwriting and blues reinterpretations.
His collaborations include Giulio Cantore, Don Antonio, Vince Vallicelli, and Giacomo Lariccia. He founded the trio Calézna (Charming Views, 2023) and the band Naïmah, whose debut album was released in 2025 and presented at the Bologna Jazz Festival.
Fabio works as a guitarist, composer, arranger, and recording artist, combining strong live experience with a versatile studio approach.
