A good song doesn't need expensive plugins. It needs a clear idea, a solid performance, and emotion people can connect with. Production should support the song, not hide it. If you already have the idea, I can help turn it into a finished record.
Got an idea but don't know how to turn it into a finished song? That's where I come in.
I help independent artists with music production, songwriting, mixing, mastering, and post-production. Whether you have a voice memo, a rough demo, or recorded vocals, we'll build your song together while keeping your vision at the center.
I mainly work in R&B, Alternative R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul, and Pop, but the goal is always the same: make the song feel right.
Here's what you can expect:
• Clear communication.
• Honest feedback.
• No unnecessary processing or overproduction.
• A smooth, collaborative workflow.
• A polished, release-ready record.
I believe great songs come from great ideas, not expensive plugins. My job isn't to change your sound. It's to bring out the best version of it.
If you're serious about your music and want someone who respects your time, your vision, and your budget, send me a message. Let's make something you're proud to release.

Interview with prodsoulwave
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: If I had to choose, I'd pick analog. I like the hands-on workflow and the way it makes me focus on the performance and the song instead of endless tweaking. That said, great music can be made with both. The gear matters less than the ideas behind it.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'll always respect your vision, your time, and your trust. You can expect honest communication, thoughtful production, and a song that's built with purpose from start to finish.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The best part of my job is hearing an idea turn into a finished song. Seeing an artist get excited because their vision finally sounds the way they imagined never gets old. I also enjoy solving problems. Whether it's improving an arrangement, cleaning up a mix, or finding the right sound, I like helping artists make music they're proud to release.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: The most common question I get is, "Can you work with just a voice memo or rough demo?" Absolutely. Your idea doesn't have to be perfect before you reach out. Whether it's a voice memo, unfinished lyrics, or recorded vocals, we can build from there. Another common question is, "What if I don't know exactly what I want?" That's completely fine. We'll talk through your ideas, references, and goals until we have a clear direction. My job is to help bring your vision to life, not expect you to have everything figured out from day one.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception is that expensive plugins or more sounds automatically make a better song. They don't. A great song starts with a strong idea, real emotion, and a performance people connect with. My job is to support those things, not cover them up. Sometimes doing less is exactly what the song needs.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Before we start, I like to understand you and your music first. I'll usually ask: • What's your vision for this song? • What do you want people to feel when they hear it? • Do you have any reference tracks? • Where are you in the process? Just an idea, a demo, or recorded vocals? • Is there anything you're struggling with that you'd like my help with? These questions help me understand your goals so I can make decisions that fit your music instead of guessing. The better I understand your vision, the better the final result.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don't choose a producer based only on price. Listen to their work, make sure they understand your style, and see if they're someone you can communicate with easily. Ask questions, send reference tracks, and be clear about your vision. The better the communication, the better the final song. Most importantly, work with someone who wants to make your song better, not just finish another project.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Assuming food, water, and the survival stuff are already covered: A laptop with FL Studio. Headphones. An audio interface. A microphone. A solar charger. If I'm stuck on a desert island, I might as well leave with an album.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been producing music for about five years. Most of that time was spent learning, practicing, and improving my skills before releasing my own work. Recently, I started putting my music out and working with artists to help bring their ideas to life. I'm always learning, but my goal has stayed the same: make music that feels real and stands the test of time.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is emotional, clean, and simple. I don't believe more sounds make a better song. I focus on making every part work together so the music feels natural and connects with the listener.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with Karri, PARTYNEXTDOOR, or any artist making honest R&B. Their music leaves space for emotion, and that's the kind of music I enjoy creating. I like songs that don't try to do too much. Strong melodies, real emotion, and production that supports the artist instead of competing with them. That's the kind of music I want to keep making.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't add a sound just because it feels empty. Ask yourself, "Does this make the song better?" If the answer is no, leave it out. Less can be more.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I mainly work on R&B, but I'm also comfortable with Alternative R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop, and Pop. I like music that's driven by emotion, strong melodies, and clean production.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Knowing when to do more and when to do less. I focus on what helps the song connect, not what makes the session look busy. Every decision should have a purpose
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a fresh perspective while keeping your vision at the center. If something can make the song stronger, I'll tell you. If something already works, I won't change it just to make it more complicated. I pay attention to the details that people feel but don't always notice, emotion, balance, space, and the little moments that make a song connect. My goal is simple: help you make a song that feels like you, just at its best.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My process is simple: We talk about your idea, goals, and reference tracks so I understand the sound you're going for. You send me your files, whether it's a voice memo, demo, beat, or vocals. I get to work and keep you updated as the project moves forward. You'll receive a draft to review. Your feedback helps fine-tune the song. Once everything feels right, I'll deliver the final files, ready for release. I keep communication clear, respect your time, and make sure every decision supports your vision. No guessing, no overcomplicating, just a smooth process from start to finish.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: FL Studio, Edifier MR4, M-Track Duo, AT-2020 Microphone, and UAD plugins.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired by Michael Jackson, Karri, and PARTYNEXTDOOR. They each have their own way of making music feel real, whether it's through performance, songwriting, or production. That's the kind of impact I aim for in every song I work on. I also learn from mixing engineers who know when to do less. The best production isn't about using more plugins. It's about making every sound have a purpose. That's the mindset I bring to every project.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most artists come to me with an idea that's not fully finished. A voice memo, rough demo, beat, or recorded vocals. My job is to help turn that into a song that's ready for release. We start by talking about your vision, references, and goals. From there, I'll build the production, clean up the details, mix everything so it feels balanced, and master it for release. You'll get honest feedback, clear communication, and updates throughout the process. I don't believe in using the same formula for every song. Every project is different, so every decision is made to support your music, not my ego. My goal is simple: help you make a song you're proud to put out.
