Alt-pop and electronic producer, mixer, and sound designer with 1M+ streams as Ghost Weather. Specializing in modern, punchy, emotionally driven records that stand out.
I’m Ghost Weather - an alt-pop and electronic artist, producer, and mixer with over 1M streams across my own releases. I bring an artist-first mindset to every mix, focusing on impact, clarity, and emotion rather than over-processing or presets-for-the-sake-of-it.
I specialize in alt-pop, electronic, and genre-blending records, especially tracks that live between pop, hip-hop energy, and modern synth-driven production. My mixes are built to feel punchy, current, and competitive, while still preserving the identity of the artist.
What you can expect when working with me:
- Clean, confident vocals that sit forward without sounding harsh
- Tight, hard-hitting low end that translates across systems
- Synths and textures with depth, movement, and intention
- A collaborative process with clear communication and honest feedback
I regularly work with artists preparing releases for Spotify, Apple Music, and label or editorial consideration. Whether you’re finishing a single or dialing in a sound direction, my goal is to help your record stand out while still feeling like you.
Feel free to message me before booking — I’m happy to listen to your track and make sure we’re aligned on vision.

Interview with Ghost Weather
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That mixing or production is just technical cleanup. My role is about shaping emotion, impact, and clarity while preserving the artist’s identity - not changing it.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask about references, goals for the release, timeline, and what they want the listener to feel. Alignment early on makes everything smoother.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Look for someone who listens to your vision and communicates clearly. The best results come from collaboration, not just technical skill.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A laptop with Ableton Live, a reliable audio interface, a great vocal mic, a pair of headphones, and one versatile synth.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I’ve been producing, recording, and mixing music for over 10 years. I started as an artist myself, which shaped my artist-first approach, and I now work with independent artists preparing releases for streaming platforms and editorial consideration.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Modern, punchy, and emotionally driven. I focus on clarity, impact, and movement while keeping the artist’s identity front and center.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I’m drawn to artists who blend strong songwriting with forward-thinking production. Anyone pushing pop and electronic music into new emotional territory is exciting to me.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Commit early. Whether it’s a vocal tone, synth sound, or drum texture; Making confident decisions early helps songs feel intentional and emotional rather than overworked.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I mainly work on alt-pop and electronic music, including pop-forward hip-hop, indie pop, and synth-driven records. Most projects are artist-led songs focused on vocals, emotion, and modern production.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Translating an artist’s vision into a polished, modern record—especially when it comes to vocal production, balance, and emotional impact.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring an artist-first mindset, strong vocal production, and a modern sonic perspective. My goal is always to elevate the song while preserving what makes it feel authentic and unique to the artist.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by listening closely to the song and understanding the artist’s vision and references. From there, I focus on clarity, energy, and emotional impact, sharing progress quickly and keeping communication open. Revisions are collaborative and efficient.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is built around a hybrid workflow with professional vocal recording, analog-inspired processing, and modern digital tools. I work primarily in Ableton Live with high-end UAD plugins, emulated outboard-style processing, and hardware synths to add depth and character when needed.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by artists and producers who blend strong songwriting with modern sound design, including Twenty One Pilots, The 1975, Glass Animals, and forward-thinking pop and electronic producers who prioritize emotion and impact over trends.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I most often work with independent artists on alt-pop and electronic records, helping them finish songs that feel modern, punchy, and emotionally clear. This includes production, mixing, vocal tuning, and vocal comping -especially for Spotify-ready singles.
