ABOUT ME
I am a Yorkshire based guitarist who is currently studying music at an undergraduate level

I have been playing guitar for over 5 years and am comfortable with either rhythm or lead in a multitude of genres

I have experience playing in multiple bands in varying styles and have headlined venues such as The Georgian Theatre and The Dickens Inn. I have also recorded in studio both solo and with a band.

MY GEAR
I have multiple different guitars including a Telecaster and Starcaster with varying pickups, I have a Blackstar Debut 50r with a 12 inch speaker and multiple pedals including the EVH 5150 chorus and The Prophet delay.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We will talk about your vision for the song and what is needed from me and then you can expect up to 3 guitar tracks (additional tracks cost $15 each) which will be delivered as 44 or 48KHz WAV tracks.

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: My E.P. that I recorded last year, four songs that were all written, recorded and produced by me.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: New music within some of my bands and getting prepared for upcoming gigs

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: I prefer digital because it's easier and crisper although I do very much enjoy the classic style of analog

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: That I will deliver top quality guitar tracks.

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: Being able to help people live out what they wanted on their song without them being able to do it.

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: If I can play a certain genre which is almost always yes.

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: That being a session musician is easy.

  16. A: What is your vision for the track? and what vibe are you going for?

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: Look for someone who can do what you need and is easy to work with.

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: My Starcaster, Blackstar Debut 50r amp, Ratt Solo Distortion pedal, EVH 5150 chorus and the Prophet delay

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: I have been playing guitar for 5 years and creating music for almost 7 years and have spent lots of time in bands and in studio including completing a level 3 diploma in music and am currently studying an undergraduate degree in music

  24. A: Pop-punk/pop-rock infused with funk and metal.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: blink-182 because they are my biggest inspiration and one of the reasons I do music.

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Listen to your mix in as many different places and ways as possible.

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: Mostly rock and pop but I can easily do funk and metal as well.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: Helping bring the most out of a guitar part or helping with song writing and direction.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: Over 5 years experience in a multitude of different genres and a desire to get the best out of every track I work on.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: Learn about the song and the creative vision then run through it learning chords or lead parts and then get to recording.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: I have multiple guitars that I put through my Blackstar Debut 50r amp into a Behringer audio interface.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: Guitarists such as Tom DeLonge and Robert Smith are big inspirations for me.

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: Sessions work either as live performances or in the studio.
