I’m Jake Sawyer, a producer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter, and the creative force behind Stereo Causes. As a producer, my focus is on translating emotion into sound and building records that feel intentional, immersive, and alive. I approach every project from the inside out—writing, performing, recording, and producing—playing vocals, bass, drums, and guitar so I can fully shape the sonic identity of a track from its foundation to its final mix.

My production style is hands-on and performance-driven. I believe great records come from capturing feel first, then using production as a tool to enhance atmosphere, clarity, and impact without sacrificing character. I’m drawn to textures that feel human, dynamic arrangements, and sounds that serve the song rather than trends. Whether a track calls for raw minimalism or dense, layered production, my goal is always to create something that connects emotionally and holds up over time.
