Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: A gospel-rooted track where my role was lead vocals and emotional direction. I’m proud because it felt honest and grounded, not forced.

A: Building my catalog and collaborating on gospel and R&B-focused projects.

A: Digital for flexibility, but I always aim for a warm, human feel.

A: I’ll treat your song with care and intention, not just technique.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Helping bring something meaningful to life. I feel my purpose in life is to teach through storytelling and nothing captures a moment in time like a song.

A: “How many revisions?” I include two and focus on getting it right early.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That vocals are just execution and not interpretation.

A: What’s the emotion? Who is this song for? And how do you want it to feel when it’s finished?

A: Be clear about the feeling you want, not just the technical specs.

A: A mic, headphones, a small interface, a laptop, and something to record ideas quickly.

A: I’ve been singing my whole life and writing seriously as and artist and for hire for several years. I started leading worship professionally in 2012. This season is about focusing and refining.

A: Victoria Monét. Her balance of depth, joy, and intention really resonates with how I approach music.

A: If it doesn’t feel good stripped down, it won’t feel good dressed up.

A: Emotion. Knowing how to deliver a vocal that feels lived-in and believable.

A: I bring emotion, intention, and a vocal that feels honest. I care about how a song lands, not just how it sounds.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen, get clear on the vision, record a first pass quickly, then refine based on feedback. I like momentum without rushing the soul of the song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use BandLab to create reference tracks, an SM7B mic with a Focusrite interface, and I book professional studio time at places like Sessionworks when needed.
