Gala Netania on SoundBetter

I create release-ready pop music for artists who want a clear sound and a strong identity. I work on full productions, custom compositions and ghostwriting, combining professional pop production with emotional sonic branding to shape songs that feel authentic, competitive and ready for streaming platforms.

I’m a music producer specialized in release-ready pop music for artists who want a clear sound and a strong artistic identity.

My work combines solid music theory, composition and arrangement with professional production, allowing me to shape songs with intention, structure and emotional impact. This foundation, together with my formal studies and hands-on experience in music production, is what makes the final result sound coherent, confident and ready for release.

I work on full productions, custom compositions and ghostwriting, guiding each project from an initial idea or demo to a finished track optimized for streaming platforms. Beyond sound quality, I focus on how music communicates emotion and identity.

A key part of my approach is emotional sonic branding: understanding the artist’s voice, message and audience, and translating that into music that feels authentic, memorable and aligned with who they are.

I help artists move from ideas to fully realized pop songs, with clear communication, reliable timelines and a professional workflow.

If you’re looking for a producer who combines musical depth, production expertise and artistic sensitivity, I’d love to collaborate.

Interview with Gala Netania

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: One project I’m especially proud of is a remix I created for Nina Ventre. It was my first time working with Miami bass, which I blended with Brazilian funk and reggaeton influences. The mix of rhythms felt fresh and unique, and it gave me a lot of creative freedom. I handled the remix production, arrangement and mixing, and the artist approved it immediately, which made the experience even more rewarding.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I’m currently working on a multi-genre EP, including R&B/soul, Brazilian funk, UKG and dreamy, harmony-rich vocals. Some tracks are in the production stage, while others are already finalized and mastered.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Yes, Mechi Pieretti

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital, because it offers precision, flexibility and efficient workflows. Most analog processes can now be accurately emulated, so what really matters is decision-making, not the medium.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: My promise is to respect your artistic vision, communicate clearly and deliver music that feels authentic, cohesive and truly release-ready.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I love helping artists turn ideas and emotions into fully realized songs. Seeing an artist recognize themselves in a finished track, feeling confident and represented by the music, is the most rewarding part of my work.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Clients often ask how involved they need to be in the process and how long a project takes. I always explain that collaboration can be as hands-on or hands-off as they prefer, and that timelines depend on complexity, but my goal is always clear communication and a smooth path toward a release-ready result.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That music production is mainly about plugins or gear. In reality, the most important part is understanding intention, emotion and structure. The tools only matter once the song knows what it wants to say.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: I usually ask about the artist’s vision, references, goals for the release and where the song will live. I also ask what they want the song to make people feel, and what they feel is missing from their current sound.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Look for someone who understands your artistic intention, not just the technical side. A good producer should ask the right questions, help you define your sound and guide the song to a finished result that truly represents you, not just deliver a technically correct track.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: A laptop with my DAW, a reliable pair of headphones, a MIDI controller, a small audio interface and a microphone. With those five, I can write, produce, record and finish a song anywhere.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: My career path started with a bachelor’s degree in music production and a strong foundation in music theory and composition. I’ve been professionally active for over 5 years, working on production, arrangements, remixing, vocal work and mixing/mastering. I’m also the CEO and founder of Neten, where I lead music and sonic branding projects for artists and creative work.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: Dreamy, emotion-driven production with depth, space and strong identity.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I’d love to work with artists like Charli XCX or Caroline Polachek because they treat production as part of their identity, using sound design and emotion to build a strong artistic language rather than just songs.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Strong songs come from clear intention. Define the emotion first, then let production choices support it.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Primarily pop music, with influences from electronic and alternative styles.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Translating artistic intention into cohesive, emotionally effective music.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring musical depth, emotional intention and a strong sense of identity. My background in music theory, composition and production allows me to shape songs that feel cohesive, expressive and release-ready, while staying true to the artist’s voice.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: My process starts by understanding the artist’s vision, references and goals. From there, I develop the composition and arrangement, followed by detailed production, vocal work and sound design. The project is finalized with clean editing, mixing and delivery of a release-ready track, with clear communication throughout the process.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I work from a professional digital studio setup optimized for music production, vocal work and sound design. My workflow is fully in-the-box, allowing flexibility, precision and fast turnaround, with industry-standard delivery for streaming platforms.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: I’m inspired by producers and artists who combine strong musical identity with emotional impact, such as Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, Billie Eilish, Jack Antonoff and SOPHIE. I’m especially drawn to projects where sound design, arrangement and emotion work together to create a clear artistic signature.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I usually work on full pop song productions for artists, starting from a demo or idea and developing it into a release-ready track. This includes composition support, arrangement, vocal production, sound design, and final mixing/mastering, always focused on defining the artist’s sound and identity.

  • What makes a project exciting for meJan 28, 2026

I’m most excited by projects where the artist is open to exploration and identity-building, not just copying references. For example, in “Not Now” by Kpuccina, I worked with spoken storytelling, R&B harmony and a soft rap approach that builds hype without breaking the flow. Blending narrative, rhythm and emotion is where the strongest results happen.

  • Six Genres, One Beat: Producing “Trapitos al Sol” for AXIAJan 28, 2026

Recently produced “Trapitos al Sol” for AXIA, a track built on a trap foundation that blends six genres within a single beat: techno, R&B chords, Jersey Club, Dub and Reggaeton. The project was both a creative and technical challenge, the result was a distinctive, genre-fluid production with strong audience response and engagement.
